Thai Boxing Combo

The images in the first series below demonstrate an effective combination from Thai boxing. Gray shirt throws a high right cross, and when blue shirt covers high, gray shirt continues with a low Thai kick to the thigh, a high left horizontal elbow, and a left rising knee to the solar plexus.

Cross Thai Kick

In the pictures above you see a Thai kick to the thigh after a high cross.

Thai Elbow Knee

The Thai kick is followed up with a horizontal elbow and an upward knee.

In the following series, a simple defense against the low Thai kick is shown. Notice that although the Thai kick is thrown and blocked low, gray shirt's arm is also covering high in case the kick would have been thrown higher.

Ready Position Thai Kick Defense

When blue shirt attacks with a low Thai kick, gray shirt simply raises his knee to defend.
