Lop Sao (Pull or Jerk)
The lop sao is an excellent trapping technique from wing chun, where you grab and jerk your opponent's arm in order to stop him from striking you and prevent him from blocking your attack.
In the images above you can see the lop sao used in combination with a kick to the groin, followed by a palm to the head. Notice that the hard pull puts your opponent's weight on his lead leg making it very difficult for him to defend against the groin kick, and continuing the pull for the palm strike stops your opponent from blocking it too.
